After a too long year of worldwide closures, the July 4th fireworks will return to the Siesta Key community. This will be the first major event on the Key since the 2020 tourism season abruptly came to halt a year ago March.
The Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce announced that its 30th anniversary of the 4th of July Community Fireworks Celebration will be held Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Siesta Beach. The fireworks show will launch at dusk. You can view the display from multiple vantage points on the sand as well as from nearby condominiums.
Bring Your Family
The event is free, family-friendly and open to the public. However, leave your pets at home. Most pups don’t like loud noise anyway.
Arrive early to secure a seat on the beach. Parking is free. However, the public beach lot is limited to 1,000 vehicles.
Don’t wait till after dinner to head to the fireworks. Make a day of your visit. Pack a picnic or eat at one of Siesta Key’s many restaurants. Do some retail therapy. Enjoy some of the Key’s outdoor activities.
Support July 4th Fireworks
This event is a great way for local businesses to connect with the Siesta Key residents and island visitors. The Chamber has made sponsorships of the fireworks display available ranging from $500 to $5,000. Sponsorship packages include a variety of perks such as parking passes, access to the VIP preferred viewing area, beverages, and light snacks. Viewing a fireworks display is always better if you can park nearby and you don’t have to lug a cooler and chairs.
Contact the Siesta Key Chamber if you would like to invest in this beloved annual event, 941-349-3800.
The annual 4th of July Community Fireworks display is held in partnership with Sarasota County.
The show will go on!
