Chamber Committees
Joining the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce, attending our networking events, and taking advantage of our sponsorship opportunities are great ways to promote your business but, if you truly want to become involved in the decisions that shape our community and affect your business, consider joining one of these committees.
Committee Responsibilities
Tourism Committee
This committee is in charge of developing strategies and policies designed to increase the number of visitors to Siesta Key and the surrounding communities.
The Tourism Committee meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month 8:30 a.m. at the Holiday Inn Express and is chaired by Maria Bankemper.
Government Issues Committee
This committee monitors local, state and federal activities that could affect our Chamber members and reports back to the Board for the purpose of formulating official Chamber position.
The Government Issues Committee meets the 1st Wednesday of the month at 8:30 a.m. at the Daiquiri Deck Raw Bar and is chaired by Troy Syprett
Ambassador Committee
This committee is in charge of member recruitment and retention. Our Ambassadors welcome new members and host our monthly networking events.
The Ambassador Committee meets the 1st Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. at the Siesta Key Chamber Office and is chaired by Barbara Cain.
