Today: Sculptors complete work on the event centerpiece (a large group sculpture displaying sponsor logos), and then begin the 'pound up' (filling forms with sand prior to sculpting) of their competition sculptures.

NOTE: Due to the limited amount of parking at Siesta Beach, it is highly recommended that Saturday and Sunday attendees park at Phillippi Estate Park, 5500 South Tamiami Trail. The cost is $5 per carload, including round-trip transportation to the event site.
